I have a panic disorder and need treatment. How can I avoid telling my parents?

Why don't you want your parents to know? Maybe they can help. Because you're 17, I don't think you could get a prescription without your parents knowing, but I'm not 100% sure. Also, how would you go to the doctor or find a psychiatrist without your parents knowing you're using their insurance? Looks like you have to buckle down and let them know.
