Can i put nail polish on my horses hooves?

You shouldn't sand the surface, if you're going to paint them just buy the twinkle toes horse polish and use it, but I wouldn't leave it on forever, take it off after a few days or so because it prevents the moisture from getting in and the hooves breathing naturally.
